Oxford United Women return to Court Place Farm on Sunday to take on Gwalia United in the FA Women's National League as they look to build on two successive away wins.
Last Sunday, United travelled to Plymouth in the league and won 3-1 thanks to three second-half goals after going in behind at the break. Then on Wednesday, the U's were in cup action, easing past Abingdon United 10-0 at the Northcourt in the determining round of the National League Cup.
Last season, Gwalia went under the Cardiff City Ladies name, although they were not affiliated to the men's side. They changed their name following a change of ownership; Gwalia is a mediaeval name for Wales and the team is now based in Newport.
Following a 4-0 defeat to Billericay in their opening game, Gwalia beat AFC Wimbledon 1-0 last weekend.
U's manager Sam Rose said, "It's been a busy week with the two games plus training. Hopefully against Gwalia we can build on the last two results and go again and get another one."
