Oxford United welcome Preston North End to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday 31st August (3:00pm) for their second home Championship game of the season. The U's will be looking to get back to winning ways after narrow defeats on the road at Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers. Preston beat Luton Town 1-0 last time out but lost their only away game so far 3-0 at Swansea City.
OXFORD UNITED
United were bolstered by the signing yesterday of Sirike Dembélé but the game may be too soon for the former Birmingham winger. Will Goodwin remains sidelined, while Gatlin O'Donkor has joined Bristol Rovers on a season-long loan deal.
Meanwhile, this is Oxford United's Head of Medical Services Amy Cranston's last game with the club following 12 years' service. Read her interview in the programme and watch HERE as we go behind the scenes to see what her typical day looks like.
PRESTON NORTH END
The Lilywhites have extended forward Will Keane's contract to 2026 following transfer interest from Wrexham and West Brom and he is likely to feature for Preston tomorrow. Meanwhile, Preston are battling with Millwall to try to sign Middlesbrough forward Josh Coburn.
