Oxford United Women are delighted to announce the signing of forward Izzy Cook
The 20-year-old attacker joins from Cheltenham Town Women, where she was Player of the Year for the 2022/23 campaign.
Having previously played in the Championship with Bristol City Women, Cook progressed through the Robin’s academy system, and during that time attended England U16 and U17 camps.
Izzy told OUFC.co.uk “Oxford have really good aspirations as a club and I’m really excited to be a part of that. I’m a versatile player and hopefully I can be a real asset to the team.”
Manager Liam Gilbert told OUFC.co.uk “Izzy is a really promising young talent who we’re pleased to have on board for the year. She offers lots going forward and can play in a variety of positions across the front line.”
You can watch Cook and the rest of the squad in pre-season action against Charlton FC Women at the Oxford United Training Ground at 2PM on Sunday 30th August.
