Oxford United’s young goalkeeper Jack Stevens has joined Oxford City on loan until January.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a successful loan at City last season and joins Mark Jones’ squad in time for their home game against Welling United on Saturday.
Goalkeeping Coach Wayne Brown told us:
“It’s a good loan for Jack. It was always part of our plan to bring in Scott Shearer as an experienced deputy for Simon Eastwood and to allow Jack and possibly Manny Agboola to go out and play senior football this season. City are a good club who we know will look after him and obviously we can keep an eye on his progress.”
