Oxford United Women are back on home turf on Thursday evening as they welcome MK Dons to the MGroup Stadium (kick off 7:45pm).
Last time out, the women won 2-1 at Cheltenham Town with goals from Jaime Gotch and Phoebie Poole to go fifth in the Women's National League (South) table. They now have a chance to bounce back from defeat to Wimbledon in their last home game as they face bottom-of-the-table Dons, who have yet to win this season.
However, as manager Sam Rose explains, the U's will not be complacent: "Milton Keynes Dons have had a challenging season so far, but we won’t be underestimating them.
"Every game at this stage of the campaign carries huge significance, and we know they’ll be determined to leave with a result.
"For us, maintaining focus and carrying forward the momentum from last weekend’s performance will be key. With the backing of our home supporters, we’re ready to put in a strong display."
Come along and support the women. Tickets cost just £7 for adults and £1 for under 16s. Men's season ticket holders, NHS workers, and over 60s' tickets cost £3.50.
The women will also be at home on Sunday 16 February against Plymouth Argyle (kick-off 2:00pm)
