Oxford United is proud to announce the return of Blue Light Day, taking place this Saturday 15 February, when Portsmouth visit the Kassam Stadium. The day will celebrate and honour our dedicated public services, and we invite all supporters to join us in showing appreciation for these local heroes.
We’ll be joined by representatives from Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service, Oxford Fire & Rescue, and NHS Oxfordshire, who will be on hand in the Exhibition Bar to interact with fans before the match kicks off.
Oxfordshire NHS will offer BMI checks, blood pressure monitoring, and health advice, so don’t forget to stop by for a chat and learn more about staying healthy. South Central Ambulance Service will also be hosting CPR and defibrillator awareness workshops, with their mascot, 999Ted, making an appearance to engage with our younger U’s supporters.
Oxford Fire & Rescue and Thames Valley Police will have representatives available to meet fans, as well as a selection of small emergency vehicles on display outside the South Stand for all to explore.
Our Blue Light Day activities will be open to supporters from 10:00am on Saturday, so come early and take the opportunity to thank those who serve our community.
