Oxford United U18s continue their busy week as they travel to Walsall this Saturday for a Youth Alliance Cup clash.
The young U’s have no time to dwell on the disappointment of Wednesday's defeat at Watford in the FA Youth Cup as they have to turn their focus to this important match at Walsall. United currently sit third in their group, needing results to go their way to progress to the knockout stages. A win will take them level with Cheltenham on seven points, meaning that they need Swindon to defeat the Robins to have a chance of progressing.
The hosts come into it at the bottom of the group, yet to pick up a point. They also have only won one out of their last seven, so will be looking to try and turn things around on Saturday.
Kick of is at 11.00am and will be covered on the Oxford United Academy social media channels.
