Plymouth Argyle Match Postponed

plymouth

Oxford United’s Sky Bet Championship match away to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 7 December has been postponed due to severe weather conditions in the South West.

Plymouth Argyle can confirm with the Club that after consulting with key stakeholders and their Safety Advisory Group, it has been strongly advised to postpone tomorrow’s league fixture.

This decision comes from the Safety Advisory Group with red weather warnings in place in areas surrounding Plymouth, which could cause significant risk to supporters travelling to Home Park, with the possibility of flying debris, road and rail closures, and power cuts.

High winds of up to 70mph are expected in the area, therefore, the difficult decision has been taken at the earliest opportunity to avoid any lengthy journeys for supporters.

Tickets will remain valid to all Oxford United supporters for the rearranged fixture, with details of the date to be announced in due course.

All supporters are advised to maintain their tickets until a new date has been arranged. If a refund is required, supporters can do so by returning their original ticket to the Oxford United Ticket Office.

We thank you all for your understanding and we will keep you updated on any additional information as and when it arrives.
