Oxford United Under-18s host Bromley FC for a crucial League Cup semi-final clash this Tuesday.

United have been in unbelievable form since the turn of 2025, winning all 13 games. With less than two months left of the season, the U’s have a chance to pull off a remarkable double of the league and cup, with the side currently sitting second in the league.

They have gone on a good run to make it this far in the tournament, after only just making it out of the group stage. Since then, United have gone on to beat Stevenage away and then dramatically overcame a strong Plymouth side on penalties.

The visitors have had a decent run coming into this one, losing just one of their last eight matches. Their run to the final four has been far from easy. They topped a tough group that included Sutton, Leyton Orient, Gillingham and AFC Wimbledon, losing just one out of the four. They then overcame Sutton in the round of 16 in a five-goal thriller before knocking out one of the favourites, Luton Town, on penalties in the quarter-finals.

These sides are going to get used to playing each other this month, meeting three times, all in different competitions. Bromley got the better of the U21s last week in a 1-0 win. The sides will meet again after Tuesday for an important league clash in Bromley on 26 April.

The League Cup semi-final kicks off at 2:00pm at the Oxford United Training Ground tomorrow and is expected to be a thrilling game in the sun.
