PREVIEW: U18s Face Plymouth at Home

youth preview

Oxford United U18s welcome Plymouth Argyle for a top-of-the-table clash this Saturday.

It’s been a perfect start to 2025 for the young U’s, winning four from four in all competitions. Their recent run in the league has seen them climb up the table into fifth spot, just three points off Luton Town who sit at the top. Their last loss in the league was in November, when they suffered a 5-1 defeat to tomorrow's opponents Plymouth Argyle.

The Pilgrims have also had an unbeaten start to the year, including an FA Youth Cup fourth round win against Lincoln City. They find themselves second on the league, just two points ahead of the Yellows, however the Yellows do have a couple games in hand over Argyle.

The clash promises to be an interesting one, with the Yellows looking for revenge after an uncharacteristic performance in Plymouth earlier this year.

Kick off will be at 12:00pm at the Bangkok Glass Training Centre.
