PREVIEW: Stoke City vs Oxford United

Stoke City Tickets

Oxford United's Championship campaign continues on Saturday with a visit to Stoke City for an early kick off (12:30pm).

This will be United's first visit to Stoke's Bet365 Stadium since September 2000, when the Potters ran out 4-0 winners.

OXFORD UNITED

The U's will be looking to extend their unbeaten run, which currently stands at seven league games. United remain without a defeat under manager Gary Rowett, who has taken the side from 23rd to 14th with the best current form in the top four tiers.

Oxford's injury worries are easing, with the return to the squad on Tuesday of Sam Long, while Tyler Goodrham will be available for selection as his three-game suspension has now been completed.

STOKE CITY

Stoke are also under new management, with the appointment of Mark Robins on New Year's Day. He will probably have to do without Ben Wilmott, who was injured in Stoke's 3-1 defeat at Portsmouth on Wednesday. In addition to Wilmott, Stoke are without Million Manhoef, Jordan Thompson, Eric Bocat and Sam Gallagher, while their leading scorer, Tom Cannon has been recalled from his loan by Leicester City ahead of his move to Sheffield United.

Before the Portsmouth defeat, Stoke had drawn their previous three league games and have won just one of their last 13, beating Sunderland on 29 December.
