PREVIEW: Sheffield United vs Oxford United

Oxford United make the trip to Bramall Lane tomorrow looking for a reaction to Saturday's game against Middlesbrough.

OXFORD UNITED

Oxford will be grateful for the quick turnaround as they look to get back to producing the performances that saw them start the Championship campaign in such good form.

Head coach Des Buckingham said in his match preview: "We've done a fair bit of work on making sure we get back to what we're good at because we have been very good in maybe 14 of the 16 games so far and we'll need to be very good tomorrow to come away with a good performance and put ourselves in the best position for a result.

"It's not about over-reacting to a scoreline, it's about going back to what we've done really well. It's not about throwing a whole load of new ideas at the players, but about going back to what works and adding a few different bits to it."

Des will be coming face to face with former Oxford manager Chris Wilder: "I can't wait," he said. "Chris has had a massive impact on me as a coach; he was the first person to bring me into a senior professional environment all those years ago here at Oxford. He's someone who is very well respected and someone who I've got a lot of time for, and I'm very much looking forward to sharing a touchline with him."

The Blades are currently in third place in the Championship, unbeaten in their last five games, most recently being held to a 2-2 draw at Coventry City. Anel Ahmedhodzic will be suspended after being sent off just before half time in that game. There is also a doubt over winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi after he was withdrawn at half time.
