Oxford United U17s make the trip to Bournemouth on Tuesday as they look to make it out of their PDL Cup group and progress to the round of 16.
The Young U’s have had a decent start to their cup run, beating Portsmouth at home and picking up a point in Swindon. This has left them with four points going into their final group stage game. With the competition only allowing the top team from each group and the three best runners up qualifying for the Round of 16, the U’s have been left in a difficult position going into their game at Bournemouth.
The Cherries have had a perfect start to their campaign, beating Swindon 5-0 and Pompey 5-1, meaning that they are pretty much guaranteed a spot in the last 16. The formidable side will be looking to make it three from three heading into the knockouts and continue their impressive run.
Kick off will be at 7.00pm and the game will be covered on the academy social media channels.
