PREVIEW: Oxford United vs Sheffield United

Family Day

Oxford United welcome league leaders Sheffield United to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3:00pm kick off) looking for a repeat of the last home game, when the U's beat Watford 1-0 thanks to Siriki Dembélé's first goal for the club.

This is the first time the Blades have visited Oxford since 2017 and the first time in the second tier since 1998, and it sees the return of former Oxford boss Chris Wilder to the Kassam Stadium.

OXFORD UNITED

United will be without skipper Elliott Moore, who is closing in on a return to action, while Cameron Brannagan is having his minutes managed by head coach Gary Rowett. Idris El Mizouni returns to the squad after illness kept him sidelined last weekend, while Greg Leigh and Joe Bennett will both be hoping to be fit enough to play a part.

SHEFFIELD UNITED

The Blades could be boosted by the return to fitness of midfielder Vini Souza, who has been out of action for nearly a month. However, they are likely to be without Tom Davies, Harry Clarke and Jamie Shackleton, while Oliver Arblaster and Rhys Norrington-Davies both remain on the injured list.
