Oxford United can announce our final pre-season game before the start of the EFL Championship season will be a home tie against Palermo.
United are set for the first season back in the second tier in 25 years, and the team will warm up for the new campaign with an exciting tie against the Italian side.
The fixture will take place on Saturday 3rd August with a 3pm kick-off, with it being the final chance to see Des Buckingham’s side in pre-season before the league opener the following weekend.
Currently playing in Serie B, Palermo is a well-recognised name in Italian football, and it is set to be a strong test before the U’s face Norwich City and take on the Championship.
