Mark Harris Nominated for EFL Goal of the Season

Mark Harris

Oxford United's Mark Harris has been nominated for EFL Goal of the Season, for his wonder goal against Blackburn Rovers.

The Wales international striker is up against George Abbott from Notts County and Josh Windass from Sheffield Wednesday at Sunday night's EFL Awards, where the winner will be announced.

His strike came in late August as United travelled to Ewood Park to take on Blackburn. In the first-half, a goal kick from Jamie Cumming was flicked into the path of Harris and from around 35 yards he sent a stunning volley over the goalkeeper.

Harris will be hoping for a double award tonight, as he is also up for Oxford United's Goal of the Season at tonight's End of Season Awards.

Good luck, Sparky.
