First-half goals from Tash Stephens and Jenna Legg, plus a second-half strike from Kate Wiseman, earned the U's all three points against bottom-of-the-table London Bees at Court Place Farm on Sunday.
United enjoyed plenty of possession in the early stages, with Tash Stephens, making her first start since rejoining the club earlier this year, combining well with Jenna Legg to probe the Bees' defence.
Their hard work paid off in the 15th minute as Stephens found herself in the right place at the right time to slot the ball past the visitors' keeper.
United didn't let up, and leading scorer Zoe Barratt went close six minutes later, her shot deflected away by the Bees goalie.
The Yellows doubled their lead on the half hour, when Legg seized upon a loose back pass and rifled the ball into the top corner to give Oxford a two-goal lead at the break.
Oxford started the second half how they finished the first, looking to extend their lead even further, but it was the visitors that struck next, pulling a goal back right on the hour.
However, rather than letting their heads dropped, Oxford looked for a quick response and just five minutes later they found it when Wiseman, who had come off the bench ten minutes earlier, made a good run into the box and smashed the ball home to restore the U's two-goal lead.
Two minutes later Oxford could have made it four as another sub, Lacy-Jai Liggett, made a run down the wing to the byline, but her shot from a tight angle came back off the post.
Oxford saw out the game with ten players after Shelly Provan had to go off injured, with all substitutes having been used in the 55th minute.
In the end, though, United were relatively untroubled as they notched up their third win in succession as they look to end the season on a high note. Next up, a trip to Billericay on Sunday.
