Oxford United U18s are on the road this weekend as they take on AFC Wimbledon and look to continue their unbeaten start in the Merit League.
The U’s have had a good start to the Merit League this season as they find themselves in third place with a game in hand on the teams above. They will now be away from home this weekend for the first time in over a month as they travel to KCL King’s sports ground.
The Dons on the other hand find themselves with work to do as they find themselves at the bottom of the league with two defeats from two.
The Young U’s will look to repeat the performance they had against AFC Wimbledon last year with an impressive 3 -1 victory and a Kasway Burton hattrick that stole the show.
Coach Pablo Haysham said:
“There’s a really good energy in the squad at the moment, the boys are performing well, and the younger players have really been stepping up. Despite not having the best of starts, we know what Wimbledon are capable of and it will be a good contest for the boys.”
