Oxford United look to make it two wins on the bounce as they travel to Bolton Wanderers in Sky Bet League One on Tuesday night (8PM).
“Saturday was an important win at home,” said Des Buckingham. “It took us a while to get there but in the end a wonderful Greg Leigh header gave us the three points and set us up nicely for the away trip to Bolton.
“We spoke about arriving at the final part of the season in a strong place and we still are in the league. We've got a fully fit squad to pick from now and you see the importance of that on Saturday.
“There’s a good mood around the camp. We've got players now back fully fit, and we've got a squad that we're making decisions on leaving players out rather than putting in.
“Now it's important that we kick on and we need to put a good performance at Portsmouth and a good result on Saturday against Cheltenham together and take both of those into Bolton, so that we give the best account of ourselves.
“Bolton are a good team. I think any team in that top eight, and that obviously includes ourselves, are there for a reason. Bolton, especially at home, are a good side who play very good football and have a good manager. But again, as we always do, we will focus on us.
“The last time we played them, I think a draw was a pretty fair result. I thought we had some chances in the first half to win it and they may have had a couple in the second to win it themselves, so I’m expecting a good game.
“The fans have backed us every game, but especially away, those that travel and travel in numbers to watch us away we really appreciate the difference they make.
“I think we also saw that at home in the last game, the importance of the fans in that last ten or 15 minutes to almost will the ball into that net made a massive impact and that will play an important role this week and in the home games we have coming up as we finish off the season as strong as we can."
