Greg Leigh scored an 88th minute winner on Saturday as the U’s beat Cheltenham Town 2-1 at the Kassam Stadium.
Leigh scored his sixth goal of the season from left-back to defeat the Robins, and spoke to OUFC.co.uk after the game.
“It was a great feeling. I think it's frustrating because we shouldn't have been in that position and I think that we have stuff to work on but we’d rather be talking about it in the changing room with three points in the bag.
“I think that it took a little bit of time to figure out their press and how we want to play around it, figuring out what the best options and the best routes are. But once we did that, we played some good football.
“We just needed to get the result at the end of the day and then reassess these things after, and we managed to do that.
“I'm really enjoying playing with Josh (Murphy) on the left. He’s flying at the moment and his pace and skill are so dangerous, so I think that right backs are starting to get pretty scared of him! It's a good feeling for the team and I think it's good feeling for him because I think he deserves it.
“These are the games that you need to win, and we could do that today, and now we have two big games on Tuesday and Saturday both away. Bolton will bring the intensity, and we need to match that.”
