PREVIEW | U's take on the Posh

Oxford United are back in OX4 for the first of three huge home games as they welcome Peterborough United to the Kassam in Sky Bet League One action, kicking off at 3pm.

As we face a vital stage in the season, we are calling on the Yellow Army to be All United. Take a look at the video below to see the power that the Yellow Army gave club legends James Constable, Josh Ruffels and Sam Long during previous promotion games.

TEAM NEWS

Both Cameron Brannagan and captain Elliott Moore will be assessed today after coming off during the 4-0 away victory at Burton last weekend.

Speaking on Thursday Manager Des Buckingham said:

“We’ve given them both the best chance of playing. We’ll train tomorrow and see how they come through that. It’s a case of seeing how they respond to being on the grass and then making a decision on what we do.”

THE OPPOSITION

The Posh currently sit in fourth place in Sky Bet League One, seven points and two places ahead of the U’s in the race for the play-off spots.

They are on a three game win streak but did lose over the Easter period to relegated Carlisle. They’ve had a busy schedule this week, lifting the Bristol Street Motors Trophy at Wembley on Sunday, before beating Port Vale 3-0 on Wednesday night.

The visitors won the previous fixture this season, beating the U’s 3-0 at the Weston Homes Stadium.
