Host Families Required

The Oxford United Academy are currently seeking homes that can provide daily support to our young players who need to live away from home to continue their football and personal development.

We are looking for hosts who will promote basic independent living skills such as washing, cooking, cleaning, self care skills and integration to the home dynamic while providing six nights a week accommodation, with light breakfast and an evening meal.

One room per player.

Dates you will host are: from June 26th 2023 to May 2024

You will live:

Within 20 minute drive from the OUFC Training Ground, Horspath OX33 1RT

You will receive:

  • A monthly remuneration.
  • Season Ticket for all First Team home matches, per player you host.
  • Ongoing Player Care support.
  • Annual induction to host expectations, the player and their family.
  • Nutrition guidelines.
  • Access to host family specific workshops.
  • Contact with other host families.

Any applicant wishing to be considered as a host family will need to demonstrate they are able to share this commitment.

Hosts family members and any other persons over the age of 16 who live at the address, are required to complete enhanced DBS checks.
