Oxford United Women host Plymouth Argyle Women this Sunday, the 26th of March, in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division.
Kick-off is at the slightly earlier time of 1PM at Court Place Farm for the U’s' penultimate home game of the season.
Tickets are priced at £6 for adults, £3 for over 60s and FREE for U16s and can be purchased on the gate.
We are missing some volunteers this weekend: if you’d like to volunteer and get a taste of the matchday experience, please contact gsims@oufc.co.uk for more information.
The visitors currently sit one point off the relegation zone, with a game in hand on 11th placed Bridgwater United. A win would send the U’s top if Ipswich Town don’t beat Gillingham on Sunday.
The U’s have played Plymouth twice already this season, once in the League and once in the Cup, winning 2-0 and 3-0 respectively.
For periods of the games though, Plymouth caused United problems, and Lily Stevens knows they’ll have to work hard to claim another important three points in the race for promotion.
“It’s always a tough game when we play them, but we know what they’re about. They bring a different challenge and it’s something we have to adapt and deal with.
“We were frustrated not to play last Sunday because we felt like we had good momentum from midweek and we were looking forward to it, but these things happen. We have the same mentality and went and trained instead and all worked hard.
“I feel like everyone’s hit a new level; there are threats all over the pitch and I think we’re really strong going forward at the minute. Everyone’s really focused and we all know what we’re capable of achieving.
Join the U’s at Court Place Farm for the second last time this season as they look to return to the top of the table.
