Oxford United U18s travel to Cambridge United in the Merit League tomorrow morning.
Kick-off is at 11AM at the Clare College Sports Ground.
The U’s prepare for their third game in the Merit League, having come from behind to beat AFC Wimbledon 3-1 in their opener, and drawing 1-1 with Stevenage last weekend.
Cambridge, like United, made club history by making it to the Quarter Finals of the FA Youth Cup, bowing out to Premier League Arsenal. The two sides also met in December in the semi final of the Youth Alliance Cup, where Cambridge ran out as 2-0 victors.
Coach Chris Hackett said
“It’ll be a tough game and we know that Cambridge have some real talent and threat. We weren’t at our best when we played them in the cup so we’re looking to improve on that performance and continue the strong start to the Merit League campaign.”
