Oxford United U18s welcome Gillingham in the Merit League tomorrow afternoon.
Kick off is at 1PM at the Bangkok Glass Training Centre on Tuesday the 4th of April
The U’s go into the game off the back of a tough defeat away at Portsmouth on Sunday, but there were positive experiences to take from the very young side that travelled.
Gillingham and the young Us both have the same record in the Merit League so far, having picked up seven points each in four games.
Coach Chris Hackett said
“We’ll be looking for a reaction from the boys after a difficult away game on Saturday. There’s a lot of young boys around the set up now and so far they’ve done really well adjusting to Under 19s football.
“Gillingham are a good side who did well in their section of the Youth Alliance League and we know they present strong attacking threat so we’ll have to be better, but we know what our boys are capable of.
