Oxford United’s under 18s face a derby game when they travel to Swindon Town in the Youth Alliance South West Division on Saturday.
The young U’s were beaten at home by Plymouth in the league last weekend but made progress in the Senior Cup on Wednesday with a win at Kidlington, with Karl Robinson among a crowd of over 500 to see that. The U’s Boss told us
“It was great to see so many people there and there was a lot of excitement about Oxford United being in Kidlington,as you can imagine!
"It was a challenge for the young players to play against much more experienced players on a difficult surface and to see how they did. They found a way to win and that was good to see."
We’ll have a full report and reaction on here after the game.
