Oxford United Women look to maintain their 100% home record when they welcome Portsmouth to Court Place Farm on Sunday (2pm)
The U’s have an amazing home record in the league and have turned Court Place Farm into a fortress. The last time they lost a league game at home was 27th October 2019 and they have lost just once at home in all competitions since that game.
United welcome Portsmouth after continuing their impressive run in the league with a 3-0 win over Chichester and Selsey in which top scorer Beth Lumsden netted her 17th of the season.
“We really enjoy playing at home and crowds are growing all the time” she told us. “We have been sharing the goals all the way through the team this season and we are still chasing that top spot. Portsmouth will be tough. It was a really competitive game at theirs earlier in the season where we drew.
“But we are playing with confidence and really looking forward to Sunday.
Similar to United, their opponents have one of the highest goal differences in the league and that should make for an exciting game.
There is always a friendly welcome at Court Place Farm so come along and enjoy the game with us.
