Oxford United U18s host Forest Green Rovers this Saturday, the 3rd of December, in the Youth Alliance League. Kick off is at the Bangkok Glass Training Centre at 11AM.
FGR currently sit bottom of the South West Division having taken five points from nine games. United however, are in fourth place, on thirteen points.
The U’s have been in fine form of late, having progressed to the Third Round of the FA Youth Cup and the semi-final of the Youth Alliance Cup in November. They also drew 3-3 with league leaders AFC Bournemouth in an enthralling game at Oxford United’s training ground.
Coach Pablo Haysham said
“No game can be taken lightly, and we’ve spoken a lot about momentum in recent weeks. The boys were excellent against Wimbledon in the cup on Tuesday and showed real character and reacted well to going down again. We have some big cup games coming and so we need to keep this form going and continue to battle for every ball in every game.”
The U’s then look ahead to a Youth Alliance Cup semi-final the following Saturday away to Cambridge United.
