John Mousinho’s goal last night makes him the second oldest player ever to score for the U’s.
The skipper’s early goal in the 5-0 win over Leyton Orient saw him edge Michael Duberry down the list into third and put him into second place at 36 years, four months and 30 days.
But he may have to score at Wembley in the final if he is to beat striker David Connolly’s club record. The former Portsmouth striker was 36 years, 9 months and 15 days old when he scored the winner against Hartlepool at the Kassam Stadium back in 2014.
