Oxford United goalkeeper Jack Stevens has joined recently-promoted League One side Port Vale on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old joins Vale with United able to recall him and before he left Oxford he signed a new deal that will keep him at the U's until 2025.
Karl Robinson said:
“With Ed McGinty joining us this summer we have three very good senior keepers. It was important both for us and Jack that he gets game time this year so this move suits all of us. He will play matches, hopefully does well, and he gets to show what a talented keeper he is.
"It's great that he has committed his long-term future to us and he remains very much part of our own plans for the future."
Jack told us
"It's good to get everything sorted at Oxford but at the same time Port Vale have been great and I'm really looking forward to the challenge here. I have been made to feel welcome straight away and can't wait to get started."
