The Oxford United Girls Academy are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a licence from The FA to run an Emerging Talent Centres (ETC), giving more girls the chance to receive high-performance coaching whilst still playing for their grassroots clubs.
The programme is designed to be a central hub for talented female players from Oxford and the surrounding areas.
The Emerging Talent Centre will work with selected players and their clubs/schools to identify and help develop future Oxford United Women Academy players.
Players in our Emerging Talent Centre must either take part in a different sport regularly or play for a grassroots football club. Our staff will work with the grassroots club to ensure there is a holistic approach to the player's development.
We are inviting expressions of interest from parents and carers who would like their daughters to take part. Training sessions will be held on Monday evenings for players aged 9-15.
To apply for open trials, please complete the form below no later than Friday 2nd September 2022. The club will then be in touch with more information. Trials are expected to take place at The Oxford Academy School on Monday 5th & Monday 12th September.
