PREVIEW Oxford United v Burton Albion

Oxford United look for the win that could give them a Sky Bet League 1 play-off place for the second season in a row, but have in-form Burton standing in their way this Sunday

The U's need to better Portsmouth's result and at least match that of Charlton Athletic as the three sides compete for the final place in the play-offs.

TEAM NEWS
United are almost at full strength. Former Burton skipper John Mousinho and midfielder Marcus McGuane who signed a permanent deal with the U's yesterday are the only two to miss out but it's hard to see boss Karl Robinson making too many changes to the side that won at Shrewsbury in dramatic style last Saturday to set up this weekend's showdown.

See Karl, James Henry and Cameron Brannagan previewing the game in iFollow now.

THE OPPOSITION
Burton looked to be in trouble when the U’s won 5-1 at the Pirelli Stadium in January but new boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has inspired a remarkable second half of the season which has seen the Brewers become one of the most in-form sides in the league.

Safe on 57 points, the Brewers have former United frontman Kane Hemmings leading the line and top scorer with 15 goals, including one against the U’s in the first meeting

Midfielder Ryan Edwards was this week voted as Players’ Player of the Year and Fans Player of the Year but the Brewers will be without Sean Clare who has done well on loan from the U’s but is ineligible to play against his parent club.
