Oxford United look to build on a promising first two games of pre-season when they play three more games this week in the build up to the new Sky Bet League 1 season.
Following wins over Oxford City and Salford on Friday and Saturday the U’s now make the short trips to Thame United, to take on Hayes & Yeading United, and Banbury United while their youngsters travel to Biggleswade.
Tuesday evening will see Karl Robinson’s side take on Hayes & Yeading at the ASM Stadium with a mix of first team, such as Matty Taylor, James Henry and Mark Sykes and youngsters who have impressed in the first couple of games such as Gatlin O’Donkor who scored three in 45 minutes against Salford, Tyler Goodrham and Michael Elechi.
Simon Eastwood and Jack Stevens are likely to play a half each while under 21 keeper Kie Plumley is likely to feature at Banbury the following night along with players who have featured slightly less so far such as Derick Osei Yaw and possibly John Mousinho, although the club captain may be held back until the weekend when the U’s travel to Birmngham City for a behind closed doors friendly.
Meanwhile the under 19 side are also in action on Tuesday night when they play away at Biggleswade.
