Stay Home and Stay Safe, that’s the message from all of us here at Oxford United.
Follow advice, stay in and come back to us when the football starts, but we also want to keep giving you things to do while you are at home.
Want something to watch? Today we had fans, including Somerest fast bowler Jack Brooks, plus two of the women’s team join in the online training session with the players - we recorded it to give you just a taste of the full 45 minute warm up session so you can see that the lads are still in good spirits. Watch it for free above
Want something to do? There are messages across our social media channels providing exercises from our Sports Sciene team and skills challenges for young fans from the Community team
Want something to read? Then all of the programmes from this season are FREE to read online RIGHT HERE
Want something to listen to? For the first time ever we have produced an official Podcast to help you pass half an hour at home.
Chris Williams told himself:
“We get lots of feedback from fans after the Preview Show in iFollow every week but obviously we can’t do the video content very easily right now unless I stand by the fence and shout questions to John Mousinho in his garden. And he’s told me off for that before.
“I was talking about it with Simon Watts who fans will have seen and heard on SKY, the BBC and Talk Sport, and Kath Faulkner our social media wizard and we wondered what would happen if we had a chat and recorded it. Then we invited Rob Dickie on, which made it all make much more sense.
“It’s perhaps a little bit rough around the edges while we find our way, but we will persevere and hopefully it’s something slightly different for fans to download and listen to during this difficult time”
You can download the first episode of the official Podcast Right HERE (it will be available on all platforms very soon).
Be warned - there are plans for another….
