Striker Matty Taylor will remain with Oxford United until the end of the season after parent club Bristol City today agreed to extend his loan.
Matty was in great form before the U’s entered Lockdown and his loan will now run until the last game of the season, whenever that may be: United are due to resume training next week with an eye to hopefully completing the League 1 season.
Karl Robinson told us:
“It’s great timing for us after the disappointment of Nathan Holland going back yesterday.
"Matty means a lot to us as a group because of his personality and the way he has bought into the philosophy and culture of Oxford United. We want to thank Bristol City for helping make this happen and I’m sure the fans will welcome the news that when we do play again we will have Matty available.”
