Oxford United should be boosted for Saturday’s home game against Blackpool by the return of James Henry.
United’s top scorer has missed the last few games after pulling a thigh muscle but has been in full training this week and Physio Amy Cranston told us:
“James has come through his full return-to-play programme over the past couple of weeks following his quadriceps injury and it has been great seeing him out with the boys again in full training.”
Cameron Brannagan and Matty Taylor are rated doubtful but midfielder Jamie Hanson is fully fit while Ben Woodburn is around three weeks away from a return.
“It’s good news on that front” Karl Robinson confirmed to iFollow earlier today. “Obviously we need to be careful with players coming back but we have a busy few weeks and are getting players fit again at just the right time.”
Pre-match interviews with Karl and Rob Dickie will be in iFollow soon.
