Oxford United will be without midfielder Alex Gorrin for the game at Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday evening.
The Spanish midfielder picked up a fifth yellow card of the season during the win over AFC Wimbledon on Boxing Day and must now sit out one match.
“Alex does a good job for the side but does pick up bookings so we always knew this could happen” Karl Robinson told us. “It’s a blow but we have players keen to come in and show what they can do so we will adjust and be ready.”
The Plymouth game is the U’s 19th in the league, the last game where five bookings lead to a suspension.
