Oxford United U18s are in action again on Saturday with an away trip to Yeovil Town (11.30am).
Last time out United’s youngsters beat Forest Green Rovers 2-0 and are looking to build on a positive performance. Defender Viktor Milton earned his first 45 minutes of the season after nine months out and is likely to be included again as he continues his return to full match fitness whilst Slavi Spasov continues his recovery in the treatment room.
Several of the U18s were involved in the U23s squad away at Huddersfield Town midweek but look set to return to the squad this weekend.
Lead PDP Coach Leon Blackmore-Such told us:
“It’s always a difficult game with the travel and the journey but we know that. It’s another test for the boys so hopefully we’ll travel well. We’ve rested properly over the week and we’ve trained well so hopefully we can build on the win over Forest Green.”
The match will be played on the pitches around Huish Park (BA22 8YF) with FREE admission for spectators.
