PREVIEW: Oxford United Women Travel to MK

Oxford United Women travel to MK Dons in the FA Women’s National league tonight (7.45pm). Tonight’s match is FREE for supporters.

Scoring 22 times in their last two outings, United Women will be looking to continue their fine goalscoring form in the league as they travel to Stadium MK.

United are expected to make several changes to the side that beat North Leigh, having made nine changes on Sunday to the side that beat Hounslow 11-0 the week before. Tonight’s opponents MK Dons currently sit ninth in the league, with the side beating Cardiff City on penalties after a 0-0 draw in the FAWNL Cup last time out.

First Team Manager Liam Gilbert told us:

“We are really pleased with our form at the moment, scoring 11 goals in both of our last two games. We know MK Dons will be a tough test, but we are confident in continuing our good form and hopefully we can start to put a winning run together in the league.”

Match Information

The match will be played at Stadium MK (MK1 1ST) with FREE entry for supporters wishing to make the trip this evening.
