PREVIEW: United U18s Face Yeovil Town

Oxford United U18s face Yeovil Town at home on Saturday in the Youth Alliance League (11.30am)

Fresh from the side’s terrific FA Youth Cup win over Reading City last night, the side are back in league action this weekend.

Jack Stevens will make a return to the squad after being ineligible for Wednesday’s match whilst Slavi Spasov could be involved in the matchday squad for the first time in the league since returning from injury. Meanwhile defender Sam Johnson is likely to miss out again after coming off injured last weekend.

Lead PDP coach Leon Blackmore-Such told us:

“Wednesday’s result in the FA Youth Cup was excellent, and I was pleased with how the lads applied themselves in a tricky cup tie. Our focus now switches back to the important league games coming up starting with Yeovil Town on Saturday and we’re looking to continue our good run of form.”

Match Information
The match will be played at Oxford United’s training ground (OX4 2RR), and is FREE entry for fans. With no first team match on Saturday why not come along and support the youth team as they look to continue their good form?
