OUFC Academy Head of Sports Science Holly Pickett is set to join Birmingham City Women's 1st Team as their new full-time Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Academy Manager Dan Harris, reflecting on Holly's contribution to the Yellows said:
"Holly has been a fantastic professional during her time with Oxford United and has thoroughly deserved this opportunity to go and progress her career at first team level at a club like Birmingham City.
"I cannot speak highly enough of Holly's work ethic and commitment in building the Academy sports science department here at the club over a number of years and the part she has played in helping our U18s win the league this year should not be under-estimated.
"It is the nature of the game that success at our level will sometimes lead to good staff having the opportunity to move on to bigger and better things and we wish Holly every success as she takes the next step in her career."
"As part of the re-structuring of our Academy staff Zach Bowman has already joined us from his previous role as a PTI with the RAF to coordinate our 9-16s S&C programme and we look forward to announcing another addition in this area over the coming weeks.
"On behalf of everyone at Oxford United I would like to thank Holly for her work during her time with us and to wish her every success in her new role."
