Club starts new Future Talent Hubs for young footballers
Oxford United's Community Trust is pleased to be introducing a new programme of 'Future Talent Hubs'
This is a new programme focusing on improving the ability of each player through coaching a combination of fundamental skills such as ball mastery, passing, dribbling, turning & shooting as well as the key principals of attacking, defending & game understanding through 1v1s, 2v2 and small sided games.
The aim is to provide a fun, player-centred environment in which children will be encouraged to be creative and inventive in their football development.
The programme serves as a great way to improve technical skills alongside playing for grassroots clubs as well as introducing young beginners to football.
The sessions will be run by qualified FA qualified coaches and cater for Boys & Girls from ages 4 – 12 of mixed abilities.
All sessions are one hour in length.
The Hubs are up and running at
• Tuesdays – Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre, Oxford. 5pm-6pm (Ages 4-8) 6pm-7pm (Ages 9-12) (Both indoor sports hall). Start date: 13th September
