Football Special buses will run for Saturday's big game against Coventry and beyond
Oxford United have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the popular OX3 and OX7 ‘Football Special’ buses to matches can continue to operate.
The services are definitely continuing after Thames Travel came forward to take over the operating of these buses, starting this Saturday when the U’s are at home to Coventry City. With over 8,000 tickets already sold for United's Military Day game against the Sky Blues, including a sold-out away end, the buses will help ease congestion and delays.
The buses will operate to the same timetable as before and offer double decker buses on both routes. They will run for all league matches, including Boxing Day when the U’s take on Northampton Town and for next Tuesday’s match against Gillingham.
