BBC Oxford join up with the U's
Oxford United and broadcast partners BBC Radio Oxford are pleased to announce a new three year commentary deal.The agreement will mean that all United games will be broadcast on 95.2FM and digital radio in Oxfordshire and will also continue to be carried on the club’s Yellow Player HD service online.
United MD Greig Box-Turnbull spoke on BBC Radio Oxford’s breakfast show this morning and said:
“It’s absolutely brilliant news. We shook hands on it last week. The support we have received from the station is absolutely immense. The quality of commentary on a match day is just first class and as a football club we’re delighted to have secured this long term partnership.”
BBC Radio Oxford Sports Editor Jerome Sale said:
"We are proud that it's the 20th anniversary of our regular commentaries on United games and delighted that the relationship will continue into League One!
