Advance Sixth Form set to open its doors
Today, 16th March, sees the official launch of the Advance Sixth Form.
The Oxford Academy, in partnership with Oxford United Community Trust, is offering this unique opportunity for students to combine study with football, rugby or cricket.
A range of new courses will offer work-life experience in a range of different professional working environments including Marketing, Health Care, Sport, Business, Arts and many more.
Not every student learns in the same way, and Oxford United and the Oxford Academy will advise and support each learner to achieve their full potential.
Whether it is grades to find a perfect career, get into university or help in securing an apprenticeship, the new partnership is designed to offer options for all.
BTECs Level 3 and Level 2 we offer are:
- Sport Studies
- Business
- Entrepeneurship
- Creative Digital Media Productions
- Music Technology
- Applied Science
- Information Technology
- Art and Design
- Health and Social Care
- Engineering
- Performing Arts
- Agriculture
- Beauty
- Uniform and Public Services
We also offer a wide range of A-Level courses and a GCSE resit courses.
Every student receives a free Season Ticket to watch the U's and club staff and partners will be offering their experience and know how to help students throughout their courses.
The pathways evening today from 5.30 –7.00pm is open to everyone and designed to help you find out more and look at how to enrol for the next academic year. There will be teachers and OUFC staff on hand to answer any questions you may have about the broad range of courses we offer and our player development pathway.
