Club Shop a big hit with the fans
The Oxford United Club Shop was doing record business on Saturday as many fans got their first look at the new look Club Shop, which was completely refitted and relaunched over the summer.
Shop manager Lee Barton told us:
“The week leading up to the game was, as is to be expected before the first game of the season, busier than normal.
“Without any question the most popular items were the Home and Away kits which have sold in record numbers. As soon as shirt printing became available the heat press has been on the go almost continuously. The early front runners for most popular print have been DUNKLEY 33, LUNDSTRAM 4, closely followed by SERCOMBE 8.
“Due to unprecedented interest in the replica kit & shirt printing certain sizes and letters have sold out. This is despite stocking well over double the amount of kit as this time last season. More replica kit is on its way across all sizes & styles, as well as more lettering for shirt printing and will be with us very soon
“A wide range of new Men’s Polo Shirts arrived into the Club Shop last week and have also been very well received. As well as the new Menswear the first items in our ladies range for the 16-17 season are now in stock too.
“Both of these new ranges are available now in the Club Shop & will become available on the webstore during this week.”
