Shillingford Bridge Hotel Become Hotel Partners

New Hotel partners for the U's

Oxford United are pleased to announce that the Shillingford Bridge Hotel have become an Official Hotel Partner to the club.

On the banks of the River Thames near Wallingford, Shillingford Bridge Hotel has a selection of 40 en-suite bedrooms and is a fantastic social hub for meeting with friends for lunch, afternoon tea or a glass of wine. The hotel has three versatile function rooms and Oxford United will use the hotel and facilities to accommodate players and club guests.

Striker Kemar Roofe recently stayed at the hotel when he had a late evening appointment for a scan on his injured shoulder. “It was excellent” he said “the staff were really helpful and the facilities were very impressive. It is good to see the club linking up with the hotel in such a nice location and so close to the stadium and training ground.”

The Shillingford Bridge Hotel is only fifteen minutes’ drive from the stadium and the partnership sees the hotel join United in Business; it was as a guest at the recent UiB networking event with Michael Duberry as guest speaker before the Notts County game that the discussion began on this partnership. They will also be providing some great offers for the hotel and its restaurant to supporters; look out for vouchers on the print at home tickets.

Rob Carr, General Manager at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel said:

“This was a fantastic opportunity to be part of a developing football club, with solid footings for progression and development in all areas of the club. We are very pleased to be part of this and are very much looking forward to forging a long term relationship over the coming years. As an Official Hotel Partner, we have the opportunity to provide fantastic offers to season ticket holders, club members and indeed the loyal supporters. I would like to personally thank Kemar for the positive feedback given during his stay with us and look forward to welcoming him back to the hotel soon, along with all other associated clients of Oxford United Football Club. Come on you Yellows!”
