TEAM NEWS
Oxford United should welcome back Danny Rose and Callum O'Dowda as they travel to Leyton Orient on Saturday.

Rose has missed the last two matches after injuring a hip in a fall at Accrington but has returned to training and could be in contention for a midfield slot while O'Dowda is back with the U's after playing two under 21 internationals for the Republic of Ireland. O'Dowda is expected to train today and Head Coach Michael Appleton told Yellow Player HD

“We just have to pick the right time and the right games, and manage him as best we possibly can, see where he’s at, see how fresh he is and whether he’s got the energy to play on Saturday or not"

Patrick Hoban gave a timely reminder with a hat-trick against Aston Villa in a Development game on Tuesday and Michael is well aware of the Irish striker's qualities:

“ Pat’s desperate to score goals, that’s what he does best" Michael said "He got his three goals against Villa and he’s obviously going to feel good about himself this week. Having that in your armoury is an important tool for us."

See Michael Appleton, Pat Hoban, Callum O'Dowda and a special guest presenter in the Preview Show in Yellow Player HD, plus the whole game LIVE as well as extended highlights at midday on Sunday.

THE OPPOSITION

After a faultless start to the season in which they won their first five matches, Orient have picked up just one victory in their last seven. However boss Ian Hendon believes that the performances have been better than the results suggest.

“I keep saying it - the performances are there, but the results are not so somewhere along the line that has to change. We have put some more concentration on our shape and other things this week so hopefully we won’t concede sloppy goals and we’ll take our opportunities at the other end.” he said.

Orient hope to have captain Mathieu Baudry available after missing last weekend's defeat at Crawley Town with concussion but Alan Dunne will be suspended after a red card.
