United's Best Pairing?

Which players formed the best partnerships?

While individual players can make a huge impact with the fans, it is often the understandings that they have with their colleagues that makes them successful.

Whether it be two centre-backs (such as Roberts and Clarke, Briggs and Shotton or Elliott and Gilchrist), a strike partnership (such as Foyle and Saunders, Aldridge and Hamilton or Curran and Cassidy) or a midfield pairing (such as Houghton and Hebberd, Allen and Beauchamp or Bulman and Murray), getting it right generally leads to good things on the pitch.

Of course, there have been many other successful partnerships over the years, and we would like to know which you consider the best. Tweet your response using the hashtag #OUFCBigQ and we will publish the best in our programme for the Newport County game this Tuesday.
