Three very special guests for Tuesday night's game
We are pleased to announce that we will have three great names from the club’s past as our guests next Tuesday evening when Oxford United welcome Newport County to the Kassam Stadium.
Les Robinson played over 450 games for the club between 1990 and 2000, and will be bringing along a group of students from the school he now works at near Banbury. Joining Les will be striker Gary Barnett who was Jim Smith’s first signing back in 1982 with his high energy style making him a big favourite with the Manor faithful.
And joining Les and Gary will be one of the greatest players the club has ever had: Ray Houghton. The Irish international midfielder was a Wembley goalscorer back in 1986 and went on to play with great distinction for Liverpool and Aston Villa before turning to his work in the media.
Come and meet all three guests as United take on Newport on Tuesday night. Places are available in the Textures Flooring Legends club and the SCM Restaurant by calling 01865 337505 or emailing commercial@oufc.co.uk
Tickets are available for the game from www.oufctickets.co.uk and from 01865 337533
